Paid extension for the Viewer

The fields that live beyond EN 16931.

The free core covers the EN 16931 core profile — and stops there. Extended Profiles unlocks the document-level fields the ZUGFeRD / Factur-X EXTENDED profile adds: six further parties, document flags, discount and late-payment terms, further referenced documents. Rendered as one more section in the Viewer’s own layout, as if it had always been there.

What it adds

Four groups the core profile simply does not provide for.

Six further parties
Ship From, Invoicer, Invoicee, Product End User, Ultimate Ship To and the buyer’s tax representative — each with name and description, postal address, tax registration, legal form and contact.
Document flags
Business process ID, routing ID and the test and copy indicators — the kind of detail that decides, in case of doubt, whether a document was ever meant to be productive.

Discount and interest terms
Early-payment discount and late-payment interest conditions — pure EXTENDED business terms with no equivalent in the EN 16931 core.
Further referenced documents
Quotation, the buyer’s order, the delivery note and the logistics service description.

How it fits in

A section of its own, not a rebuild.

The additional fields appear as a clearly named section at the end of the view — in the same cards and field rows as everything else. That is deliberate: you can see at a glance what comes from the free core and what the extension contributes.

Cards for parties an invoice does not carry are not created. An invoice without an Invoicee gets no empty Invoicee card, it gets none at all.

Underneath, the extension hooks into a purpose-built extension point in the Viewer and is handed the document that has already been read — the invoice is never parsed a second time.

Requirements and scope

Requires the (e)Invoice Viewer for PEPPOL & EN16931 — WordPress enforces this itself and refuses activation without it.

Document level This release covers the EXTENDED fields at document level: around 40 additional values read out.

Later Extended product details per invoice line — industry code, model, batch, brand — are earmarked for a follow-up release and deliberately not included yet.

Languages The extension ships no translation catalogue of its own; it uses the Viewer’s. The new section therefore speaks the same three languages automatically and cannot drift away from them.

Environment WordPress 5.8+, PHP 8.2+.

Extended Profiles sits on top of the free (e)Invoice Viewer. Upload a ZUGFeRD or Factur-X EXTENDED invoice there and the new section appears by itself, as soon as the document actually carries EXTENDED data.
