Configure the KoSIT validator without editing the XML file by hand.

The file scenarios.xml decides how the KoSIT validator recognizes an invoice, against which schema and which rules it checks it, and which rules it rates more strictly or more leniently. The Scenario Studio shows you this file clearly and lets you edit every part.

Before saving you see every changed line, and the studio writes every untouched part back byte for byte, with all comments.

What the Scenario Studio does for you

Manage scenarios
Create, clone, move and delete, as UBL invoice, UBL credit note or CII.
Edit every scenario
Recognition expression, namespaces, XML schema, Schematron steps, custom levels and acceptance expression.
Recognition test
On real invoices you see which scenario takes an invoice. Measured against the validator, the test matched its result for 165 of 165 sample invoices.
Check before saving
The file is checked against the validator’s schema and for typical mistakes, and with the configuration folder also whether every named resource exists.
Rules with text
For every rule identifier the studio shows the default severity and the text from the official rule sets.
Two languages
The studio works in English and German.

Who the Scenario Studio is for

For operators of a KoSIT validator who want to adapt its configuration, for example to report a rule only as information or to add a scenario of their own.

As an app

One HTML page, no installation, no network

The Scenario Studio is a single HTML page that runs in the browser, without installation and without a network. To open the configuration folder you need Chrome or Edge. You copy the saved file into the configuration yourself and restart the validator.

What the Scenario Studio deliberately does not do

It does not compile Schematron; a step names a compiled .xsl file that must already be in the configuration.
It writes nothing into the configuration folder.
It does not restart the validator.
